High Resolution Orography Service
Better quality of orographic information exists. Spot Image is a world leader for the delivering of orographic information. Spot Image is operating the SPOT 5 satellite. SPOT 5 carries a dedicated sensor for orography and is constructing a world wide archive of Digital Elevation Models. The data delivered has a cellsize of 1 second arc or can be delivered with a fixed cellsize of 20 m.

In collaboration with DataForWind, Spot Image customized its service chain for delivering orographic information adapted to the need of wind industry.
They are ready to deliver data in the appropriated format and in a reasonable time (less than one week) to you.
From archived data, 20 by 20 km areas in your preferred projection (Geographical, UTM, ED50, Lambert, ...) and format (XYZ, DTED, Tiff, ...) cost 1000 €.
For other areas, the price depends on the size.
